Please arrive at the college at any time from 10am to complete your enrolment - it should take no longer than a couple of hours. Enrolment takes place on the following days:

INDUCTION WEEK
Induction Week starts on Monday 2nd September at 9am. Please use the college buses to travel in for your first day.

Please note, you must meet the entry requirements for the programme you have been accepted onto in order to enrol successfully. If you do not meet requirements, your enrolment on the programme will be at the discretion of the programme leader.
The college has its own Learning Resource Centre that houses an extensive collection of books and journals so you will not be required to purchase any books in advance. However, from time to time, it’s useful to have access to your own copies. This will be discussed with you as and when required.

As well as working in the college’s animal management unit you will also get the opportunity to go on work placements. Previous students have gone on placements at local wildlife centres, vets, pet shops and kennels. This is a great opportunity to put what you have learnt into practice. To progress on to the level 3 course, you will be expected to complete a minimum of 35 hours of external work experience in a suitable placement.
During the course you will get the opportunity to go on a range of visits which are held at the end of each teaching block. You will get plenty of notice of these visits and trips so that you can save for them, although we try and keep them as cheap as possible.
Before you begin your course, you’ll need to make sure you’re prepared with the right equipment. Many of our courses need specialist health and safety clothing, but we’ve made it simple - some of your essentials and college branded clothing can be bought from our online shop.
